I have amassed a lot of experience since returning to Christchurch, New Zealand, last May, which ranges from puppies, small dogs. large dogs, older dogs, cats, guinea pigs, small lifestyle blocks, and all of their specific needs, including my recent one, where I learned about dogs in season, a real eye opener! I walk a dog who is fairly reactive and have been enjoying the challenge and love him to bits. Last year I completed a certificate in Dog Psychology, Behaviour and Training through The Career Academy, level 4, and currently I am studying full time at Te Wananga O Aotearoa in a certificate in small business. I will be launching my business in early summer, The Dog Nanny, professional pet sitting services. I am a 53-year-old Kiwi who has been living "away" for many years in Nova Scotia, Canada, and the UK, where I met my husband. We returned to Christchurch, New Zealand, last May. My son lives in Christchurch and my parents in Ashburton. I have 2 granddaughters. I have a passion for biking, hence why I will incorporate this into my business with my Dog rides service. I love exploring new places, walking, reading, good food, and holistic health.
